International Flights & Visa Information
For our guests from Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, and other countries, the easiest route is via Singapore. Scoot operates flights from Singapore to Manado 6 days a week. You can book your tickets on the Singapore Airlines website or any other preferred airline to Singapore, and then catch a Scoot flight to Manado.
Indonesian visa rules change often, they changed most recently in July 2026. Always confirm your own situation with the official immigration website or the Indonesian embassy in your country before booking.
What applies to almost everyone
- A passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date, with two blank pages
- Proof of onward or return travel
- The All Indonesia arrival card, which is compulsory for every arrival. Complete it free at allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id within 72 hours of your flight. It is not a visa.
Most of our guests arrive on a 30-day Visa on Arrival, available online as an e-VOA before departure or at the counter at Manado. Citizens of ASEAN countries and a small number of others enter visa-free for 30 days, which cannot be extended. If you plan to stay longer than 30 days, look into a visit visa before you travel rather than relying on an extension. You can check your nationality & current fees at evisa.imigrasi.go.id
Sam Ratulangi airport in Manado and the seaport at Bitung both handle Visa on Arrival. If you need to extend a 30-day visa, the immigration office in Bitung is 30 minutes (Time it takes including boat & car transport) away from the resort, and we are happy to bring you there. Extensions now require an in-person biometric appointment. Overstaying is expensive, with charges of IDR 1,000,000 per person per day from the first day. Please plan your departure date carefully.
Domestic Flights
If you’re traveling from within Indonesia (Jakarta, Bali, Jogjakarta, Makassar, Sorong, Ternate, etc.), daily flights are available with Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Sriwijaya, among others. Please note that some Indonesian airlines may not accept credit cards issued outside Indonesia/Asia for online booking.
Transfers to Divers Lodge Lembeh
We’re more than happy to arrange a transfer for you from the airport, another resort, or nearby areas like Manado, Likupang, and Tangkoko. We maintain excellent communication with other resorts in North Sulawesi, ensuring that transfers between resorts are always seamless and well-coordinated for your convenience. For example if you’re coming from another resort in Bunaken or Siladen, they can bring you to the harbor in Manado where our driver can pick you up. For such transfers, please ask the resort staff to contact us so we can discuss pickup details. Transfers with Local Transportation
If you prefer local transportation, services such as Grab and Indrive are available throughout North Sulawesi. We can arrange a boat transfer from the harbor of Ruko Pateten in Bitung to Divers Lodge Lembeh. Divers Lodge Lembeh is only reachable by boat as we don’t have any road access whatsoever. However, if you have a lot of luggage, we recommend using our own transfers and transportation for your convenience.
