Snorkeling & Skin-diving Lembeh

Snorkeling at Lembeh

While Lembeh Strait is famous for macro-photography and muck-diving, there’s also a very vibrant and colorful side of Lembeh with extensive coral walls, gardens, and large schools of fish at South Lembeh, and also some of the dive-sites of Lembeh Strait; being a delight for Snorkelers and Skin-divers alike.

Pulau Dua | Snorkeling Lembeh

Such as Pulau Dua (Two Islands), Coral Kobong (Coral Garden), Jiko, and Pulau Susulina (Susulina’s Island) of South Lembeh. Sites at Lembeh Strait being Nudi-falls, Air Prang, and Serena Islands. These sites are ideal for snorkeling thanks to their reefs.

Much like our diving policy, every snorkeler/skin-diver whether solo or in a buddy team of two, is provided with a guide at no additional cost. We also offer snorkeling at our house-reef for free if you decide to do it without a guide, and without a private-boat from our beach.

Our Snorkeling rates are IDR 250,000 (EUR 12.96), (USD 15.02) per-site, per-person. Gear included, and without time-limit on how much time you’d like to spend on a site.

Private Dive Boat, Always

Each guest or group gets their own dive boat and guide for IDR 1,550,000 (EUR (EUR 80.34, USD 93.09) per day, per boat, in addition to the cost of snorkeling. Our private boat service lets you decide which sites you’d like to go to and snorkeling without time limits.

Divers Lodge Lembeh's Dive Boat

Our custom-built boats are spacious and have everything you need – towels, water, tea, coffee, snacks, and safety equipment. Breakfast/Lunch is also served on the boat upon request if you’re planning for a lengthy day being on the boat.

If other guests are available and agree to share a boat, the cost is split equally among everyone on that boat. However, we cannot guarantee that others will be available or willing to share. This fee applies to everyone whether alone, with a buddy, or in a group. As a snorkeler/skin-diver you can also share a boat with other scuba-divers and you’ll be provided with your own guide.

Kayaking

We have several stable sit-on-top kayaks, that upon request we can also load unto the dive-boat. In addition to snorkeling you can also go Kayaking at the sites. However please note this won’t be possible if there are other divers underwater.
